Skaffold makes local development for Kubernetes apps a breeze. It’s an open-source, command line tool that detects changes in your source code and automatically builds a container and deploys it to a local or remote cluster. No longer do you have to deal with managing image tags, or cobbling together bash scripts to see your changes live. It has a pluggable architecture that allows you to choose the tools in your workflow that work best for you.
